Australian apps feel risky
myGov, Medicare, Service NSW and banking apps all look different. Parents worry about tapping the wrong thing.
For Chinese-speaking seniors in Sydney
Not a lecture — a small-group practice class. Taught entirely in Mandarin. Parents bring their own phone and learn what they actually need: WeChat, Australian government apps, scam detection, and simple AI tools for English correspondence.
Parents know where to tap, what not to tap, and when to ask for help — before something goes wrong.
Why this class exists
Most parents can use WeChat and watch videos. But when a government app, English letter, bank notification, or scam call arrives, they freeze. You can help once or twice — but you can't sit beside them every time.
myGov, Medicare, Service NSW and banking apps all look different. Parents worry about tapping the wrong thing.
Bills, GP letters and government notices sit unread, which leads to anxiety and missed deadlines.
Fake myGov, fake banks, fake family emergencies, investment groups, and AI voice scams are increasingly convincing.
What we teach
Each parent brings their own phone and a real question. The teacher guides every step in Mandarin, working through the actual device until it is done. Practice, not lecture.
